Happy new year! Hope you all have a happy and successful 2012!
Last year was a busy one for me. I'm pleased to say that I graduated from Kingston University
with an MMus in Composing for Film and Television.
I also completed scoring for Lucidity for Hollow Tree Films, which is being entered into film
festivals in the States and I am currently wrapping up work on David Schmoeller's Ha, Ha, Horror.
I look forward to all of the film scores that I work on this year - I am particularly focusing on
feature films but will also happily work on professional shorts.
As always, please get in touch if you require a film score at a competitive rate.
Cheers - Stephen

Hey folks! Apologies for the lack of updates - I have been busy lately with completing my
University dissertation. For the past couple of years I have been working for a Master's in
Composing for Film and Television and the course has finally come to an end.
In other news, I am working on David Schmoeller's new horror short, Ha, Ha, Horror and
Hollow Tree Film's marvellous Lucidity. I will give updates on these films over the next couple of
weeks.
If you have a film that needs a professional film score for a competitive rate, please get in touch with me at
info@stephendurrant.co.uk.

Unfortunately the link for Humidity no longer seems to be working - apologies for that.
I have been working on one short film recently - it's called 'Dream in the Dark' and is one
of the most cinematic films I have worked on. It is being submitted to various festivals in the US
at the moment. Hopefully it gains the recognition it wholeheartedly deserves!
Also preparing for Jon and Erika Huff's new feature film, which will hopefully reach the production
stage a little later this year.
Well, that's it for now!

Happy new year! Apologies for the late update. Lately I have been working
on several projects. I finished the score to David Schmoeller's short film
The Rules of House-sitting, which has been submitted to several film
festivals. I am now working on two fantastic shorts, which I will talk
more about soon.
I am also writing the score for two Hollow Tree Films projects, Lucidity
and Never Too Late.
The feature film I provided music for, Where The Dogs Divide Her, has been
picked up for distribution by R-Squared and is going to be released in
Spring 2011 in the USA. So keep your eyes peeled for that one.
That's all for now - I'll keep you posted.

I've had a busy few months! I wrapped up the score for Stephen Burgoygne's
Time to Die and have been working on tracks for various music
production libraries. I have commenced work on David Schmoeller's latest
short film, which I will talk about at a later date, and will soon
be composing for the new Hollow Tree Films production, Never Too Late.
That's all for now, folks! I'll keep you posted on future projects.

So here's my updated website - many thanks to Sheraz for helping
me get something that not only looks superb, but functions properly!
As for what I've been up to - I have completed
the score for David Schmoeller's Two Frenchmen and have just finished Jon
and Erika Huff's Humidity which is a marvellous film and was an
absolute pleasure to work on. Next month I am going to the Cannes Film Festival
which is sure to be an interesting experience, and will also be working on
another short film (more details later!)

I've been busy! I'm currently working with David Schmoeller
(writer/director of Puppet Master, Tourist Trap and many more) on his
new short film Two Frenchmen Lost in Las Vegas. I'll write more about
it in the upcoming weeks. Two other projects that I'll be working on
over the next few months are the Lynchian No Ordinary Fear of God and
the new Hollow Tree Films production, Never Too Late, which is looking
to be something rather special indeed. Finally, here's an article written
last year about Hollow Tree Films and how The Road Home came together.
They misspelled my name but that's okay - that extra R is overrated
anyway...

Hello and welcome to my website. After months upon months of planning
exactly how it should look and what purpose it should serve, I've finally
come up with something I'm happy with! Here you will find a bio, details
of the projects I've been working on, audio and video samples and various
other bits and bobs. I am currently available for scoring, so if you
like what you hear on this site please do get in touch.
